Here are three things you can do to limit your carbon footprint:


  1. Buy second hand clothing: if every American bought second hand clothing, 5.78 billion tons of carbon dioxide would be saved from the atmosphere

  2. Carpool: if you got rid of your car, your emissions would cut in half

  3. Go vegan (or eat less meat): 60% of the corn grown in the US goes to feeding cows. Not only does going vegan limit your carbon footprint, it also makes food more accessible within the US.
